As some of you may already know here at CTL Dental we sponsor a guide dog puppy named Kevin. We have recently been sent our 'Pupdate' number 4!
Guide dogs rely on sponsorships to deliver services to people around the UK with sight loss. A small donation can make a big difference.
Kevin has been doing really well at his training school and picks new skills up super quick! Kevin has been working on his new skill 'Chin Rest' recently this is where his trainer Steph asks Kevin to rest his head onto her lap when shes sat down. This is a useful skill to have mastered as it's helpful when perfoming health checks and grooming.
Kevin has been recently been introduced to a training harness which helps Kevin to walk with the correct guiding tension. It took a while for Kevin to get used to the mtal handle frame on his back but Steph has recently changed to a different design and Kevin much prefers this. He's pretty food driven but very confident.
Kevin works allongside 3 other dogs (Beauty, Nell and Denny) that are also training with Steph.
